Why do I need to hire a professional organizer?

I want you to consider this: if you were unable to manage your household or business expenses, you would hire an accountant. If you needed help cleaning up around your house or help with your kids, you would hire a housekeeper or nanny. If you needed a website, you would hire a designer.

If you are unable to organize your home or business or manage your time, why wouldn’t you hire someone to help you there?

You don’t have to continue wasting hours of your time looking for something. You don’t have to continue overbooking yourself and falling behind on your commitments.

A professional organizer is trained to show you how to put systems in place to make your life easier. We teach you how to determine a plan of action unique to your own lifestyle. And we make sure you are well equipped to maintain these systems going forward.

What makes Organized Fixology my best choice?

I have pulled together decades of research and created a tool to determine which systems are most likely to work for you based on a number of factors.

I take the time to get to know you so that I can make the best recommendations for YOU. This helps ensure that all the systems I help you create will be the best fit for you, your goals, and your lifestyle. And they will be the easiest for you to maintain going forward.

Look, I spent years trying on different organization trends and time management techniques that just didn’t work. Do you want to know why? Because I was trying to force systems onto myself that didn’t align with my lifestyle and how I functioned. So I reversed the process and created systems around these things. I stopped forcing something that obviously wasn’t working.

And now I want to help you do the same thing. We start with you. And where we go from there is entirely up to how you work, when you like to work, your personality, as well as your unique learning style.

We will create a system that is completely personalized to fit you.

Do you work with chronically disorganized individuals?

If you have been diagnosed as being chronically disorganized by a medical professional, then you are best suited to work with an organizer who has been extensively trained to work with chronically disorganized individuals. I do not hold any certifications to work with chronically disorganized individuals, but I would be happy to refer you to someone who does.

What happens when I hire you?

The first step to booking me as an organizer is to set up a discovery call. This is absolutely necessary because I want to make sure that I’m the best person for the job. While I take pride in my services, I want to ensure you hire the correct organizer in the event you have a unique situation that would require someone who specializes in that area.

If this is a home or business organization project, we then set up a timetable relevant to the scope of the project and dive in! I will come to the project location ready with whatever tools are needed based on the initial consult (files, storage supplies, etc). None of the sessions will be longer than 6 hours to make sure we don’t get too tired and start making mistakes. I also ask that all sessions be scheduled no more than a week apart. If there is too long of a gap between sessions, a lot of the work can unknowingly be undone, which is counterproductive to your goals. So this is important to keep your project on schedule and ensure fantastic results! You can read more on my organization services and packages here.

For time management coaching the number of sessions will depend on the package you choose. All sessions are 45 minutes long and held via Skype, Google Hangouts, or over the phone. Because this can generally be done remotely, I don’t typically travel to meet clients, though it is always an option to explore if we are ever in the same city! You can read more on my productivity services and packages here.

Do you offer cleaning services?

I, unfortunately, do not offer cleaning services in any of my organizing packages.

How to you manage projects that require additional tasks?

If your project requires services outside of what I offer, they will need to be outsourced to another professional. This would include things such as heavy lifting, shelving construction, mass paper removal and shredding, etc.

As the organizer, I will oversee the entire project to help ensure that anyone else brought in stays on schedule, but their contract with be with you. I, therefore, will not be responsible for the quality of their work or any budgetary demands.

Do you have any additional questions that I didn’t answer?

I would love to answer any and all questions you may have about my services or packages. You can reach me via email at info@organizedfixology.com or by filling out the contact form at the bottom of this page. I will get back to you within 48 hours.
